His sets are energetic and delicate without ever becoming vulgar, making him an elegant DJ always on the lookout for the latest underground sound. The man behind the Run With Us nights with Ben Lujan, Pter Raw, aka Pierre le Tohic, is a long-standing musician. He learned to play saxophone at a very early age before entering the Conservatoire. He then joined a jazz band in his home town of La Rochelle. For two years, he played a series of concerts combining good humour and feverish swing. His career then took him to south of France, where he discovered electronic music and set up the Providance collective. Active on the local scene, notably at the Natural Games festival and the Villa Rouge (Montpellier), he plays at the side of Akufen, C2C, Chinese Man, Elisa do Brasil and Beat Torent. His jazz influences gradually led him to take an interest in house music. A self-taught musician, he began producing before taking an interest in mixing, a new passion that led him to migrate further north. In 2012, he finally decided to move to Paris. It’s a decision he doesn’t regret, as he’s now involved in the Run With Us nights, happily hosted by the famous Batofar. He also performs in bars in the east of Paris, including 9B and Bric à Brac.
