Alltta was born from the meeting of two international hip hop personalities: the American Mr J.Medeiros, MC of the fabulous Procussions, singer with the funk hip hop group Knives, producer and author of an adventurous solo debut a few years ago. Then there’s France’s 20syl, with 4 albums to his name with his Hocus Pocus project, producer and member of C2C. The 4 DJs-scratchers who have won the DMC world championship four times and produced the acclaimed album ‘Tetr4’ (4 Victoires de la Musique and a double platinum album), as well as producing and remixing for Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and Schoolboy Q.

20syl and Mr J. Medeiros have always wanted to work together since they met in 2006. This is finally a reality with ‘The Upper Hands’, an album released in February 2017. AllttA demonstrate their ability to develop through many genres, including avant-garde, without losing sight of their musical identity. The formula is tried and tested: an innovative blend of organic and electronic music from producer 20syl intertwined with the sophisticated and philosophical rhymes of rapper Mr J. Medeiros. The two artists have put all their artistry at the heart of AllttA.
